Miss Michelle
Early Childhood Educator
Michelle Lynam brings more than 23 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and a passion for helping children learn, grow, and explore. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Vanguard University and a Master’s degree in Communication in Education from Grand Canyon University, graduating with honors from both.
Before moving to Northwest Montana, Michelle owned and operated a family childcare home and private preschool in California for more than 20 years. She also serves as Lead Teacher and Early Childhood Education Consultant for Trego Community Classroom. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes play-based learning, outdoor exploration, meaningful relationships, and nurturing each childs individual strengths and interests.
Growing up in a military family with strong agricultural roots, Michelle was actively involved in 4-H and FFA, developing a lifelong appreciation for nature, hands-on learning, and community service. After visiting Northwest Montana for more than 12 years, she made
Fortine her home, where she enjoys country living with her dogs and chickens.
Michelle is the proud mother of four adult children, grandmother to a grandson, and eagerly awaiting a granddaughter. Outside the classroom, she enjoys reading, hiking, kayaking, traveling, and creative hobbies such as beadwork and crochet. She also values giving back to her community through her involvement with TFS Community Hall.
Michelle looks forward to sharing her love of learning, nature, and community with thechildren and families at Bright Skies Daycare.
Miss Meagan
Substitute
Meagan grew up on a beautiful ranch in Plains, Montana, as the youngest of eight children. With both parents working as schoolteachers, she developed a natural appreciation for education and the importance of nurturing young minds. Growing up in a large, lively family taught her the value of patience, resilience, hard work, and embracing the joyful chaos that often comes with caring for children.
As a proud mother of two boys, Preston and Garon, Meagan understands the importance of creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where children feel valued and encouraged to grow. Her experiences as a mother, combined with her lifelong passion for children and education, have shaped her compassionate approach to early childhood development.
Meagan has also had the opportunity to live and travel abroad, gaining valuable life experiences and an appreciation for different cultures and perspectives. However, her love for Montana's mountains and wide-open spaces eventually brought her home. She now enjoys life in Eureka, spending time outdoors, making memories with her family, and caring for her energetic Boston Terrier, Albi.
Having previously served as the Assistant Director of Bright Skies Daycare, Miss Meagan continues to be a valued member of our team as a substitute teacher. Her familiarity with our program, established relationships with children and families, and understanding of our daily routines allow her to provide consistency and dependable support whenever she steps into the classroom.
Miss Meagan's nurturing personality, experience, and genuine passion for early childhood education make her a wonderful asset to Bright Skies. We are grateful to have her continued involvement in our program and the positive relationships she has built within our childcare community.
